Long forgotten by Cyclops He rode away on a dinosaur Hand out opiates, closer to Christ Threw away the keys to your paradise Look away and it disappears Smell of smoke from the grinding gears Listen close hear the laughter For sale sign on the great hereafter Because you all know what they’re here after You all know what they’re here after “For sale” sign on the great hereafter The keys to your Christ The keys to your paradise What’d you expect from the invisible man Forgotten people, forgotten plan I’d pray for you but you’re out of luck Your main man don’t give a fuck Say your prayers ‘cause there’s no one home Big Daddy has left you alone The sacred scrim has started to sag Last supper from a takeout bag

See the lights in the sky Hear the whites and their lie Too stupid to die The end Ghost in the machine Lost in the between Too bloody to clean The end We pretend to be free Buried in the debris Nowhere to flee The end Seeing formative shapes In the murder and rapes By the talkative apes This is the end, comprehend That’s all there is, my friend This is the end Every bloody headline Puts us lower than swine Who are waiting to die The end This hungry regime Has picked our bones clean And only wants more The end Every moment we crave Becomes like a wave That will only lay waste The end I wish we could change Or just comprehend That we are a curse

about

This is the end - that’s all there is my friend!

Sick Jokes “The Great Hereafter” EP is clearly channeling the golden age of industrial crossover - ultra-heavy, highly political, and not interested in comforting us. Instead, they are ripping the bandaid right off the wound. The global music collective that is Sick Jokes delivers a steady stream of mechanical violence, mosh inspiring riffs, and vocals that are on the verge of a complete nervous breakdown. The anger is real. The standout track is the cover of “Lunatic Fringe” by Red Rider. Plasmic’s vocals add a striking contrast to Sean’s insane performance and together they are unstoppable.

Produced and engineered by the one and only John Fryer
Featuring remixes by label-mates Chiasm and their friends EXT EST
